Actually I am inerested in how Nightshade would be treated. there could be a lawsuit filed by the AI devs who scrape from artists without consent and manage to ruin their own data set and have to spend a lot to repair it since it might count as a trap though since the law is so slow, who knows how long it would take for what counts as a booby trap and if it applys to digital media and if Nightshade would count as one. I doubt it though since hashes have been around for a long time to watermark images and that Nightshade might count as a hidden watermark and probably doesn't want a law to prohibit it since it is used for (I think) anti-piracy measures and Illegal material.
