Ignoring the millions of cars it removes off the road is wild. And IMO far outweighs the benefits of giving people unskilled jobs to halfass their way through whilst they polute the planet in the middle of a climate crisis?
I do not. Have never respected an Uber driver 1 time. They dont respect rhe job themselves. And its always like a Paper round. To suppliment income not a full time job.
Most of them are going to school or have some other skill they are working towards ECT.
So i feel nothing. They can become cleaners. Or pick fruit. Or the hundreds of other jobs that exist for low end supplimental wages ect.
But i am happy for this change. Just sad Uber rick rolled you all with "Career Opportunities" whilst publically showing they are going to replace you all.
This is the future. Pivot. Dont hold onto fossilised concept just because it employs people.
I dont know those people. And thier bad choice to work for a company destined for an automated workforce. And has shown thats where they are heasing for almost 10 years
