there are some VERY rare cases of image gen being okay, the general "somethings off here" vibe of ai generated images works well in SOME games. if it doesnt, ur game better be free. and good. and not PVZ replanted. theres really only one case of good genai and thats coding, if you put serious effort into it. to make deltarune up to the point where you chose the torso, you need 100 prompts, and knowledge of all the technical things, and the ability to hyperanalyse animations, and many many many more things, im just saying, if you dont, then it sucks theres no way to do that with image gen, story generation, video generation, or litterally anything but coding is impossible. coding has many resources where real game devs steal code all the time, but do you ever actually steal a peice of an artwork to use in your own? no. do you ever use other animations to use in the middle of your own? no! if your actually using ai generated media without real effort put into it for intentional personal gain, (youtube told me not to put what i said here into the comment... okay youtube...) if you put real effort into vibecoding a game (THAT INCLUDES CREATING ALL THE ART AND MUSIC FOR THE GAME YOURSELF) then your completely fine! if you have ai generated assets still, thats okay, just make sure its either a "babdi" case, or your game is free. (yes i know babdi was technically both.) also dont say ai generated media is stealing, its not, its bad to use it, but its not stealing
