Pseudointellectualism at it’s finest: AI is Built on statistics: it guesses the next word or at the most “sentiment”. However it does not necessarily mirror them.
Yes AI is trained on the Internet. Yes Grok is a tad bit Retarded, but that is just because the guardrails/Grok’s fundamental architecture in terms of what to output or whatever is lacking.
What should be the pertinent question is : if AI is a mirror image of humanity’s collective consciousness (which does make sense because the Internet is humanity’s consciousness and AI is trained on it) and since AI can’t feel, then what do the outputs really mean for us?
Uncomfortable truth in my opinion: We’re all stupid and we need to do better. Sure joke all you want, for example (true thing btw) i love racist jokes myself, but treat it as a joke. Not as something to be taken seriously. Oh and please, critique our own thought processes better.
