I'm disabled, and I can tell you, I miss work. I miss routine. I miss the ability to make more money. And I feel guilty, like I'm not earning my keep. I've always worked, and worked hard (it's how I got disabled). And I have a constant fear that somehow it will get taken away (because I just can't do the work anymore). UBI would kill so many people. This nearly killed me.
Ironically, I'm trying to get a graphic novel done to try and earn a little more money. My art is my chance to earn more than my disability check. I'm writing novels too. I wonder how long before those will all be written by AI.
