I use Midjourney to study (and being that I am schooled artist, I see the bad and uncanny valley results) and shop ideas I can see. Maybe I am still wrong for doing so, I am willing to look at things from different angles. I only sell the human-made art that I made with my own hands. So I'm probably not the best ally because I do pay my subscription to them, but they will exist until we take them down somehow. Now, I work with clients who would not be satisfied with a prompt, and I don't believe Midjourney will ever replace me, but I understand what consent is and it's very important. Maybe the answer lies in offering a kosher alternative.
