I don't fear AI because of a Hollywood scenario catastrophe, my fear is, once it starts doing more stuff for people, at what point does the human even need to learn the thing? It's going to turn everyone into technicians who don't really know the reason behind why stuff works and I guess that could work out fine there's trade offs but I like to know what the hell is going on under the hood.
Like I know the AI at some point maybe able to do the engineers work for say building a bridge and drawing it out and this and that, and that's great but I still think the engineer should know why and how . Maybe that's a bad example I dunno. Anybody picking up what I'm putting down here?
