AI still relies on human input, information, data, photos, videos. You cant rely on AI to develop great works of art. If all of sudden we dedicated AI to that we would see a halt in progress. In fact if we use AI as a substitute for human creativity we will see a halt in new ideas, progress across the board. AI is used best when operated as a tool in the enhancement of our ingenuity and creativity. AI just amplifies that current state of human affairs. Artists will still have a place because humans are still driven to create, I doubt AI will be able to do so in any real unique, transformative way.
