also without the element of a real human person talking back to you LLM "therapy" is just journaling but worse. ChatGPT has no idea how to respond to your specific issues and help you, it's just a mirror that reflects back whatever you tell it with therapyspeak it found on the internet, and it's just as likely to validate your unhealthiest impulses (as, frankly, a lot of the worse human therapists do) as it is to suggest something actually helpful and actionable. The entire point of talk therapy is the therapist being another person with their own perspective (and it sucks that therapy is inaccessible to a lot of people but I don't think AI is a good solution to that problem)
