What I love about the hate for AI art is it shows just how many artists are hypocrites out there lol like: Where's the attribution for the music you used? Where is the credit for the graphic that explains poisoning models? Where's the credit for the art at 0:20, looks good, I'd like it as a background art, but there's no credit. Where's the credit for the Brent Remlo GIF you used? Do you have a license for that? Oh, did you grab the copyright for the Boston Dynamic's robot video to make money from it? Did you sub-license that art from Futurama? Did you license that burning Elmo GIF? I'm not saying what these art AI companies are doing is good, but before judging others, are you taking multimillion-dollar IPs, drawing them in ways the original artist disapproves of, and then do you proceed to sell them for money? Is your justification that it's a company and not a person? Then you are a hypocrite :) AI companies shouldn't be stealing from artists but neither should artists be stealing from companies. Stop making Disney, Marvel, and DC bigger than they should be and bring actual creative art into the world. AI is going to become a permanent tool, just like Wix and their ilk became a permanent tool for developers.
