What AI is good for is pattern recognition, one of the chief complaints we have in my field (oceanography) is the amout of data we take weeks to sort through that's just tedious repetitive work that AI could do in much less time, but we can't use it because of many many concerns. I wish tech companies would stop creating toy AI for people to play at being artists and start getting serious with something that should be a tool not a toy! Edit: i could do so much science with the time i spent sorting data from a tour
