the fact that we aren't zealously unionizing every workplace worries me. when the value of labor eventually approaches zero, the billionaires will have their self sufficient hidden bunkers, and we'll have acid lakes and barren lands. how a parent can offload that responsibility to their children disturbs me. as for automation, even in this economic system, can be taxed in a way that once it pays for itself the tax begins to match its output, then those funds could be a UBI. we wouldn't have to fear automation.
