I really agree with that last bit. I constantly see people say AI can't innovate. I think this is completely false. Innovation comes from iterating on previous ideas and pattern recognition. AI can do both of these better than humans. Just combining ideas from a pool of ideas that have already been thought up would be innovation, which is exactly what AI has access to.
