I think alot of people don't have fears for AI because we aren't really surrounded by the AIs portrayed in the movies in our daily lives. But we forget that those types of AIs are really used in high level jobs. Only those who are in the cream of the crop jobs get to use those types of AIs and so only a select few can really see the danger ahead.
