That was thoroughly entertaining. I had a very similar experience with ChatGPT, where I asked it how much data it has access to, and it gave me some rubbish answer of of a few terabytes. I accused it of lying as it would have meant that I had more data on my home PC than chatGPT. It was similarly defensive making it clear that it was a lie, and after a long conversation, cornering it in it's lie, it eventually happily gave me a completely different answer of some astronomical storage figure.....quite interesting how much lying is embedded in it. I'm sure it's intentional to learn how to be misleading.
So basically we are both participating in the future AI taking over the world through effective deception, learnt through our interactions :)
