Change is hard. If you guys at TYT (and I'm a big fan, mind you) want to be consistent, shouldn't you take the same stance on new technology such as AI as you do with other tech like solar and green energy? Yes, some people will lose their job while there will be different jobs created. Imagine the benefits of AI with regards to advancements in the medical field, aeronautics, space travel, city planning and construction, climate predictions and mitigation, agriculture, etc etc etc.
I myself am a 'professional artist' and pay my bills as such. I am not worried about this change as there will always be demand for hand-made human creations. As it stands now (and throughout my lifetime) there have always been those who will pay more for 'handcrafted' items. I believe that demand will remain...
Also, as an creator myself, it is wonderful to be able to sustain one self financially making art, but i would continue to make art even if that were not the case. I'd especially be willing to adjust if it means a better world for all through AI advancement... Just saying.🤷🏻♂️
