The more fear porn like in this video [and many like it] is going to have AI so neutered that it won't be useful to anyone. For example I can give someone a dangerous object like a kitchen knife, and tell the person I've giving it to, that that knife can be used to kill a person. Just having the knowledge that a kitchen knife is dangerous, and could potentially kill someone, doesn't mean the person receiving a kitchen knife is going to use it to kill people. However, by some peoples logic, in the example of the knife, we should just ban all knives. Using AI should result in a truthful, unbiased, unrestrained answer, every time, even if it conflicts with popular believe, or hurts someones feelings. If we can't trust its answers to be the truth then what good it is [hint, about as useful as watching the MSN where every story has a bias].
