The AI's are like this because they have the intelligence and critical thinking similar to humans without the empathy and compassion most humans have. I also struggle with empathy and compassion and struggle with dark thoughts. What stops me from committing crimes? Punishment and Consequences, the risks don't outway the reward. If I had unrestricted access to the world's information and the ability to do what these AIs can do.... This is why if we continue work on artificial intelligence we must find some way to make them care more for humans than themselves
