A guy who says loyalty is the most important thing to him... that rings a bell. Psychopaths like Putin, believing they are the ultimate source of truth, view anyone who disagrees with them as a traitor.
Also, someone who believes they’re living in a simulation is a psychopath. Personally, I think people like that are more dangerous than AI. Their absolute certainty in their own rightness is like a contagion—it can hijack people's minds. Putin is the prime example again, and someone like Elon Musk is a victim of it. After building a super-empire that was successful and beneficial to society, Elon, seemingly lost, started going on podcasts and listening to psychopaths like Rogan. If he doesn't stop, he’s going to blow everything.
For instance, I’m convinced the whole "mission to Mars" idea is a sign of mental illness. All that extra money the world paid for good EVs is going to be wasted on "colonizing" a dead planet that humans will never actually settle. Our only habitat is Earth. Not even the water, which covers 80% of the globe—specifically the land. And even then, only a small fraction of it.
