I think most of this is reasonable, but this is the first time in any of your videos where something rubbed me the wrong way. It's a minor detail, but with this channels level of logical consistency, it stands out.
It's the analogy of the two artists. You represented it as if it were up to random chance which remaining data system is more robust, as if there's some ambiguity there. But this is completely untrue. They specifically chose the system which is more robust to focus on. The cost is secondary to that. They didn't just get rid of the more expensive one and crossed their fingers hoping that the other worked. It was a very intentional choice.
Also, while I understand the whole "businesses are always dystopian" fad, I don't know if it's reasonable to simplify these decisions as purely cost-cutting measures. Tesla is well aware of the line they're towing in terms of public opinion of the dangers of self-driving, and they have a strong interest in making sure they don't cross that line. This is a company that opts to use much more difficult and/or expensive techniques, materials, technologies, etc where they could easily cut tons of costs not doing so. I don't think it's a valid assumption to strictly classify the removal of radar as a cost-cutting measure when that logic would have to preclude these other far less important costs.
