I’m definitely on the site of AI not being art, but I also think gen AI have a place as a tool.
What I hear is “AI is never art as it uses others work, and it doesn’t involve as much work”
First point is kind of mute as we’ve always heard that everything is built on some something that came before, sure AI does it at a whole different scale, but how manu times haven’t we seen “van gogh style, metroidvania, soulslike, xxx-esch”
