You "only" have to believe 5 things. I have doubts about #1 and #2. I still think it's part of the extrapolated AI hype/fear. I believe we are *very* far away from LLMs becoming AGI. I work as a software engineer and I use them daily. They are not that great. We just get dazed by the greenfield projects AIs pull off ("look the AI built me a website from scratch!") when the real work of engineers is to build *and* maintain systems over years/decades. AIs are not good at that.
