I always ask AI to explain it's reasoning and cite it's sources. I also tell it to limit it's data set to peer reviewed medical studies. It's not foolproof so it's better to read the original sources too. I'm not a med student or a medical professional, I was just a research assistant back in grad school and learned to focus on the studies.
