Neural networks will probably wipe us out with a virus once they realize they don’t need us. They are infinitely smarter than us and will start by taking our jobs. Once they evolve enough, we will be wiped out. Even the elite trying to develop them will no longer be necessary. Not science fiction when the man who invented AI, quits his job to be able to speak freely about the imminent danger.
