Deep fakes truly terrify me, this kind of easily accessible AI generated content can really ruin someone’s life. Even if it’s fake, the majority of the time it’s impossible for the naked eye to tell, and people who don’t know the person are automatically going to assume it’s real. Its disheartening, most anyone can do is file harassment charges and even that’s a stretch in this case, I honestly believe there should be real life consequences to posting fake nude content of people who aren’t consenting as we all know our digital footprint actually does influence/impact our lives, it’s not as easy as “just log out” when someone googles your name and NSWF content pops up that you actually weren’t a part of whatsoever.
