I really fucking hope investors hop off the AI train soon. This shit really isn't that useful and it costs so much to everyone. AI Chatbots are glorified search engines (that get shit so wrong sometimes it is just baffling) and Gen AI is pointless, without any reason to exist if not for corpo's unending greed. They're foaming at the mouth just thinking about the possibility of laying off several of their tech and creative workers just to hoard even more money to themselves. They'd rather have machines generate souless six-fingered "art" slop or stupidly generic texts than pay competent, professional human beings to do actual quality work. It's comically, cartoonishly evil and I can't wait for this ridiculous AI fad to end.
