Some days ago I got the chance to talk with an artist who was holding a small exposition. She said she had only been studying Japanese techniques for 11 years, but her art really stirred something in me, and she realized I was an artist too.
The way she explained to me how it was done, how she experimented, how she failed and made mistakes, how she painted, how the technique worked, it made me realize AI will never make art. Art takes an entire lifetime, not a couple minutes. It's about expressing yourself through every stroke, and not just a result. AI "art" is bad not because of the result, but because there's no thoughts, or feelings or a soul behind it. Art is a reflection of our souls. If AI can represent you, then you're nothing but a soulless being with no thoughts or mindset, who sees no value in anything, and will never understand the joy of creation.
