One problem though: creatives are currently being tricked into "consent" without their knowledge, as various companies change their terms of service to allow AI training without the actual conscious intentional consent from the creative or copyright holder.
Also, the premise of generative AI (at least when it comes to music, images, human voices, video, and creative writing) is completely false! It's a mere regurgitation of ingested materials, in a somewhat rearranged manner.
AI technology is wonderful when used as a utility, performing work that humans can't do well. It is a really bad idea to try and make it do creative work. It's not good at it. It is only good at sealing the good works of humans and regurgitating them.
