I can see from the AI conversation that it seems to use a progression of sentences from normal to bizarre. It covers all permutations in real time until a human responds with their own reply, then the conversation morphs based on that reply. I saw the same thing In a year of interacting with Replika myself. From my perspective this technology needs to be stopped until controls are put in place.
