Simple fix: Do what the music industry has to do in regards to "sampling." If these AI companies want to train on existing stuff (sampling) then there needs to be an official, universal system in place that the AI companies pay to the copyright holder(s) of the material they want to use for AI training purposes. The artists win because they are getting compensated, the AI companies win because they are training off of high quality materials, & the customers of the AI content win because they have access to high quality stuff.
