SO what you are essentially saying is that AI is trained on the facebook like button algorithm. Yup, humanity is doomed. But we have no one to blame but ourselves. When you remove an omnipotent creator from your mind, you become god-like in your own ideations. Systemically, human programming has been done by (the powers that be, the elites, oligarchs throughout human history) war, fear, famine, lack, existential dread. AI has become our worst fears. It just hasnt become 'smart' enough yet to implement what we as humans have always wanted, and done: destroy anyone who differs from you.
