Allstate used me and my coworkers (8 of us) to train ppl in India for over a year! My team was in charge of the entire Quick Foto Department (where ppl take a photo of their damage and send it in for a preliminary estimate). There was a lot to train them on which is why it took a year. Not even 6 months after training them... Allstate fired my team and 80% of our adjusters in my home office. The only State side adjusters (thats wat they were called) that kept their jobs were remote/WFH adjusters. The only reason they weren't laid off was bc Allstate still needed a handful of adjusters to visit auto shops in person to write supplements. This was in 2021. Im sure in 2025-2026 they are doing something similar all over again since AI is now in the picture.
