My problem is not the ai generation. I honestly think it's pretty cool innovation! It can never really replace art jobs because someone still has to make the art to feed the machine, and that's where my problems come in. These AIs when in beta were trained on thousands of artists, old and new, without their permission or even knowledge. That's theft, and it's literally illegal. I am not mad at innovation. I am mad at the utilitarianism used to get there.
