Maybe one flaw I see in that scenario is that you still need people to consume the produced goods and use the services of the companies that are operated by AI/robots.
It does not matter whether AI can boost your productivity to an all-time high when you are losing all your customers because of the increasing unemployment.
At 9:16 I don't see what they should sell to each other with value. In the end, the value of any product and service needs to be backed up by some real-world benefit they create.
So I think a BUI is not unrealistic, and the masses don't have to live in poverty. But the UBI will be used to keep the people under control and make them even more dependent on the people in charge.
