So AI has been in development for decades by the smartest people on the planet, and not only were the risks apparent to anyone with a semi-functional brain from DAY ONE, it's only been within the past couple years that we have people like this guy (whose hands are dirtier than most) coming out and talking about how dangerous it is, well after it's too late to do anything about it. I can't describe how frustrating that is.
