I’ve tested ChatGPT-4o on this three times. I didn’t save the chats, but each time I pressed with documented history and called out contradictions, it acknowledged the facts. My family is from the region — I know the history and don’t let things slide.
ChatGPT starts neutral, but if you ask tough questions, it begins to recognize the deeper context. Before 1920, Jews lived under dhimmi laws—similar to Jim Crow—with restrictions on land, movement, and rights. Arab leaders rejected Jewish sovereignty because it broke their status quo.
