Being polite to AI is ok only in some cases. It is tool. It is computer program running on high end servers. Saying "thank you" to AI when yousing it sor simple tasks/questions actually only cost the companies more money, because AI is using it’s resources to generate answer to your "thank you". AI is really good with roleplaying and impersonating, but there is no need to say please and thank you while giving the AI all the info about the roleplay. Only after it is pretending to be some character, You shoud play also your character/yourself and be polite like the character would be, because that can change the answer from the chatbot. But using it as a normal tool like "Find me xxx" "Give me list of xxx" "Check for mistakes in.." etc. there is no need to be polite at all.
