One of my experiences with AI was in using it to help in DMing for DnD as I was still new and wanted to learn how to do it. It was definitely an interesting experience but I learned some key methods to best use AI. For one AI is way too much of a yes man. You need to be the one to take control and not just go with whatever AI says. It will go through every generic stereotypical trope imaginable. It is up to you to give it your own spark and ideas to tailor it and make it unique. No matter how good you get with AI though, it never beats the authentic experience of working with your own mind and judgement and being able to instantly respond to each choice and action. AI will never provide that genuine connection as players fall in love with the story and characters.
