I’d argue most “artists” today don’t understand art. The very reason AI art took off with the mainstream, is because since the abomination named Picasso became popular, we’ve lowered the standards so far down, where anything remotely good looking will win out. Maybe, I don’t know, do what the artists of the past did and actually create something good? I know, revolutionary with modern art being so popular, but it’s the truth.
