We cannot perpetuate the idea that these CEO's are geniuses or savants. It discredits our own knowledge in our own industries. These guys are out here to raise profits thats it. They are going to say and do anything to accomplish that, so listening to them as an even marginally reliable "source of truth" is incredibly naive, I'd argue. You check in with actual researchers or engineers in the fields these CEOs come from, and you quickly uncover that they are just expert liars and manipulators, why they are so good at business under this economic model. So, any conversation about AI and how it will impact an industry is working with bad data if the CEO's are used for anything but confirming the stories they WANT to push about what makes them money. It discredits you guys and any of us if we do anything different with their words and "expertise."
