Bridge players think we are better than AI at the highest level. Which is a little fascinating. I saw an article and they sorta thought it was as hard to beat the best human expert bridge players as it is to teach an AI to drive a car. And there isn't a will to create such a difficult thing to create for the defeat of humans at a single card game.
They are better at aspects of the game, but nobody can make an ai that starts from scratch follows all the rules and can also defeat the best humans.
