Copyright is a tool for big companies to keep their IP for 100+ years and to profit from it after the author's death, I don't think art should be copyrighted as it just prevents other artists to create their own spins on the original premises (like how you can't legaly make and distribute a Super Mario fan game or a Mickey Mouse fan animation). I think AI models should only be trained on art that is explicitly allowed to be used for such purposes by the artist. And that artists should get recognition from such use, so people generating similar images could support the original author. But copyright is just a bad idea for art in general, even if it helps to cripple AI bros profits
