Art is like music, if you've never held an instrument, of course you will just make chaotic noise, it takes practice, yes some people pick up the talent quicker than others but that doesn't mean they are born with it. Ai images can be funny, can give basic ideas, but they are not art, no time is often given to them and no effort is really put in. Personally my problem with AI images mainly stems from how the ai learns and the data that is mostly stolen to teach it. If you got the go ahead from the artists or used your own art to train the ai then I would have less problems with it. After all ai is a tool, it can be used to help clean up lines, remove or add things into a photo, and even change images to get an idea on what it would look like from another angle. So yea, kinda of a long rant but I don't like calling ai images art, I think as a tool ai can help artists that wish to use it, and it's the way they are trained on stolen data that makes them evil.
