I do both. I've been drawing since I was a kid. Realism by hand never turns out right for me. Anime styles are much easier. For realism, my AI art looks better. Prompts take time to learn as well. I know other artists complain that AI art is basically theft due to scraping in order to train AI models BUT... all artist are inspired or influenced by art from other people. You can argue semantics but it's similar. As long as you aren't trying to profit from AI art, who cares. All of mine are free for anyone to use. Attempting to copyright AI art is slimy but there is no harm in using the tool if it helps get the image out of your head and into the world.
