Every AI I have built does this with varying degrees of success. This is some basic stuff I would expect from a tool that is capable of conflict at the level of a 6 year old human child. Not sure I agree 100% with Geoff, it seems very apparent that tokenisaion, edge detection, and byte/pair, etc, is arguably close to human pattern data. But is unarguably empirically different, and the advanced aspects of LLMs are built on this shaky foundation. Big shout out to Chuck for getting this at a laypersons perspective.
