AI is too incompetent long term to take this many jobs. Anyone that says otherwise does not understand the fundamental limits of LLMs.
Everyone wants to focus on this angle or AI turning into sky net as the threat. Yet no one really talks about the real threat: AI making us all dumb, socially broken, and brainwashed by the rich people controlling the bot net messaging. We are losing basic knowledge, we don't know how to talk to others and have zero emotional regulation in those interactions, and allow armies of fake people to influence who and what we vote for. AI is exceedingly good at these things.
