The single biggest problem with AI and technology in general is that for the most part the motivation for creating it is not to solve a problem but to make money.
Weaning ourselves off the use of money is the biggest single positive step we could take to changing our existence to a positive, cooperative paradigm.
Money twists our motivations in almost universally negative ways and turns the planet into a single gigantic pyramid scheme where the only goal is to funnel resources up the pyramid. We need to wake up to this fact quickly. Demographic indications are that if we don't we have about 3 centuries left as a species before we go extinct.
