It’d be nice to see something as massive and influential as NaNoWriMo stand up for the underrepresented minorities in their community. I’m not expecting them to move mountains and change systemic issues overnight but y’know.. just advocating for better representation, helping us find resources and opportunities, giving us a space (a moderated forum perhaps) to make our own resources would be nice…
But no, that requires effort and sponsorship money is easy!!! Why actually support minorities when instead you could support the AI that builds itself off content it stole from the creators participating in the event and also you’re ableist, classist and bigoted for disagreeing with us!!!!!!!
