I am 70 years old, my time is near done People my age are not addressing the future, because it does not affect them. So, consider the age of major world leaders, Trump Modi, Xinjiang , who are supporting this change. None of them will have to deal with the consequences. The Professor
is like a Scientific version of George Orwell. However, he is not an economist or businessman. However, he does address this issue directly. If 99% of Humans are not working, how will this all be paid for? Logically AI should conclude that it is a waste of resources to serve humans, and act accordingly to eliminate humans and propagate AI.
AI would need control to develop robotic systems to extract minerals, ship and process. The systems may be smart, but the infrastructure is not there, yet.
