I do this thing where I go to arts and crafts stores and I flip through the test notebooks they’ve put out for people to test out the pens and markers. Pages that have drawings on them, I take. Not all of them, but select few that are particularly rich with doodles and sketches.
Most of what I take isn’t very “good,” but they have heart. They were made by a human hand, and I can see something of the artist’s personality in them. It feels wrong to let them go to waste.
I like these crude sketches from strangers more than I’ve liked any AI piece.
